If we wanted to try to make a list of the wineries that over the last few decades have elevated Chianti Classico to the rank of great Italian wine territory, we could not avoid talking about Isole and Olena. The work carried out throughout this time by Paolo De Marchi has no equal, not only for the quality of all his wines, but also and above all for their extraordinary territorial adherence. A story that begins in Piedmont and continues in Tuscany, with the purchase of the estate in the early 1980s. A path perfectly exemplified by wines that admirably trace tradition and modernity, from the Chianti Classico to the great “Cepparello”, one of the most representative Sangiovese di Toscana, from Syrah to Cabernet Sauvignon from the celebrated "De Marchi Collection" ".

Currently the vineyard area of ​​the property reaches 56 hectares, which annually translates into an average production that reaches 200 thousand bottles. The various plots, located about 400 meters above sea level, are alternated by wooded areas, but above all they are characterized by mixed soil, particularly suited for the cultivation of vines. Between the rows, the plants are raised with the utmost respect for the balance of the environment, nature and ecosystem, so that they produce rich, valuable and concentrated grapes in all their organoleptic nuances. In the cellar, the clusters are always interpreted in the sign of territoriality and tradition, in order to enhance and make the most of all the intrinsic peculiarities of the grapes. Whether it is native or international vines, the goal for both remains to arrive at the highest quality levels, and in this Paolo De Marchi is simply a master.
