Angelo, together with the constant support of his wife Lucia and children Gaia, Rossana and Giovanni, managed to establish the Gaja winery all over the world, thanks to a commitment and a vision that have literally shaped not only the Barbaresco and Nebbiolo wines , but the whole wine market of the last decades. In the Gaja cellar, located in the historic center of the town of Barbaresco, wines are born that have become a cult for every enthusiast.

With more than 92 hectares of owned vineyards managed in full respect of nature and the ecosystem, the company has an average production of about 350 thousand bottles a year, not only reds with a strong personality, but also excellent white wines. Thanks to a family and cohesive management of the company - the whole family, in fact, is involved in the supply chain - the Gaja wines have become a real myth: just think that the 1985 Barbaresco Gaja was defined by Wine Spectator as the best wine ever produced in Italy. Gaja wines have a unique and unmistakable style, and the fame of the Gaja winery, starting from the mid-nineties, extends from Piedmont to Tuscany, thanks also to the ambitious Ca 'Marcanda project: here Bordeaux wines are born, such as the “Promis”, the “Magari” and the “Camarcanda”, characterized by a personality comparable to the greatest Barbarescos.
