The Domaine Joseph Voillot was born in the late nineteenth century, and since 1995 has been managed by Jean-Pierre Charlot, former courtier and professor of enology at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune and son-in-law of Joseph Voillot. The approximately 10 hectares of vineyards of the estate are located in the municipalities of Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune, true home of Pinot Noir.

The style of Jean-Pierre, and therefore of the Joseph Voillot maison, is essential and without frills, fully embracing a rather simple philosophy of life: wine is made to be drunk, with family or friends. Its wines, with a classic plant, show a refined aromatic personality that fully reveals the terroir of origin. Another distinctive note is the decisive tannic-acid framework, resting on the intense fruity note, which produces rigorous but jovial and juicy wines, capable of aging with extreme grace.
