List of products by brand Jermann
The beautiful story of Silvio Jermann begins in the 70s, made up of a journey that over the span of thirty years has led his wines to be known and appreciated in Italy and throughout the world. His family, owner of many of the land still in use today, settled in the Collio at the end of the nineteenth century. The turning point, however, comes when a young Silvio takes over the reins of the company, and thanks also to the many lessons learned during his oenology studies and experiences abroad, he begins to produce modern wines with great personality, the same ones that we still know today. This is where the Jermann winery was born, a reality that can currently count on over one hundred and thirty hectares of vineyards, and above all that dialogues every day with the world, while keeping the attention always focused on the concrete things from which great wines are born. Love for the land is in fact the cornerstone of this farm, a great pearl of the Collio, renowned for its exceptional whites but also for its robust and traditional reds.
Among the rows, under the coordination of the young and talented agronomist Stefano Amadeo, part of the vineyards are managed following the rules of organic farming, and in general the plants are grown in full respect of the environment and ecosystem, so products of synthesis, and great attention is paid to the balance of the territory. In the cellar, the most modern oenological instruments are used in the name of the most ancient traditions, to create a unique harmony, which we find all contained in the glass. Sauvignon blanc, gewürztraminer, chardonnay, picolit, Istrian malvasia and ribolla giallo, friulano, riesling, pinot bianco, pinot grigio and finally pinot nero: these are the vines that give rise to the wines labeled "Jermann", some of which have been in use for years in the myth, starting from the "Vintage Tunina", to continue with the "W ... Dreams ... ... ...", with the "Capo Martino" and with the Ribolla "Vinnae", up to the Riesling "Afix", at the "So Sia ”and the“ Red Angel ”. Wines that need no introduction, and that go beyond the schemes and fashions of the moment, to tell what is the highest excellence of Collio and Italian enology.
