Barbaresco Costa Russi comes from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested manually and carefully fermented in steel vats; afterwards, the wine is aged in barrique for 12 months, and then aged in large barrels for another 12 months, in order to bring out the best aromas and scents. This exceptional wine has a garnet red color, with elegant orange reflections.
The nose is a triumph: violet and medicinal herbs, toasted notes of coffee, currants and ripe plums ennobled by memories of mint chocolate. On the palate the wine is intriguing and robust, rich and with a deep structure, with mineral references, savory and endowed with a great tannic persistence.
