Nikka Coffey Malt is a one of a kind product. Normally whiskeys obtained from 100% malted barley are distilled in classic copper pot stills, which is why having a malt whiskey distilled in a continuous column is a rarity. Nikka Coffey Malt has a very slim aromatic profile at first glance, but with rich fruity aromas obtained thanks to the distillation method. It does not report any type of age on the label, so Nikka Coffey Malt also follows the philosophy of the No age declaration, for the benefit of great freedom on the part of the chief blender Nikka, to select the best barrels, which age at the Miyagikiyo distillery.
